The most significant change to the rules for clubs relates to U13s, who may now play adult league hockey once they have reached the age of 13yrs. See rule 9 Ai. |
| 10th Sep 08 | Note from Wapping 2s re Fixtures due to late promotion to East Women's League |
| | Due to double booking by one of our venues, fixture times for Wapping have
not been added, and for East London, match times are likely to have to be
changed. Both clubs are working to resolve the issue and will update/amend
the website (and advise opposition teams) as soon as possible.
This applies only to games at Mile End. John Orwell games for Wapping are
unaffected.

| 9th Sep 08 | Essex League Hockey - Wapping 2's Gain place in East League |
| | Due to a withdrawal from the East Ladies League of Hadleigh, Wapping 2's have accepted the place to compete in East League Hockey for the Season 2008/09. Therefore all Essex Premier teams will have no League matches on the date that they were due to play Wapping 2's. Please contact Samantha Menear League Secretary or Michelle Jackson Premier Division Rep should you have any issues relating to this.

| | All Clubs are required to send a representative to the Pre-season meeting this coming Monday, 8th September. The meeting is at Romford HC, 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start. Look forward to seeing you all there.
